【Function Structure and Composition】
The Virus sampling tube is composed of a swab, a test tube and a protective cap. The test tube contains a virus storage solution, of which the test tube, protective cap and storage solution are the basic configuration, and the swab is an optional configuration.
According to the type of storage solution, it is divided into A type and B type, and according to the capacity of the storage solution, it is divided into 9 specifications.The protective cap is made of polyethylene (PE) resin which meets the requirements of GB / T 11115-2009 standard, and the test tube is made of polypropylene special materials which meets YY / T 0242-2007 for medical infusion, blood transfusion, and syringes.The sampling swab head should be made of PE synthetic fiber or man-made fiber, and the sampling swab handle is made of polypropylene special material for medical infusion, blood transfusion, and injection equipment in accordance with YY / T 0242-2007 or GB / T 12672-2009 acrylonitrile-butyl made of diene-styrene (ABS) resin or GB / T 12671-2008 polystyrene (PS) resin.
【Sample Requirement】
Specimens should be transported to the corresponding laboratory within 2 working days after collection, and the storage temperature is 2-8ºC; if they cannot be sent to the laboratory within 48h, they should be stored at -70ºC or below, and ensure that the collected specimens sent to the corresponding laboratory within 1 week.Specimens should avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
【Installation and Operation Instruction】
1. Collect samples with sampling swab according to sampling requirements.
2. After sample collection, put sampling swab into sterile sampling tubes.
3. Break off swab at the truncation point on swab rob. Discard the tail part and cover the lid.
4. Tighten the sampling tube cap.
5. Put notes on the label of sterile collection tube as needed.
6. Specimens should be transported to the corresponding laboratory within 2 working days after collection, and the storage temperature is 2-8ºC; if they cannot be sent to the laboratory within 48h, they should be stored at -70ºC or below, and ensure that the collected specimens sent to the corresponding laboratory within 1 week.Specimens should avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
7. The specific sampling methods can refer to the following:
1)Throat swab: Use a dedicated sampling swab to wipe the back wall of the pharynx and the tonsils on both sides with moderate force, avoid touching the tongue; quickly immerse the swab head in the sampling liquid, and break the swab at the easy-to-break point of the sampling swab rod Discard the tail. (Sampling for this product is applicable)
2)Nasal swab: with a special sampling swab, gently insert the swab head into the nasal palate of the nasal canal, stay for a while, then slowly rotate to exit; quickly immerse the swab head in the sampling liquid Break the swab at the break point and discard the tail. (Sampling for this product is applicable)
